Tournament Registration and Memberships

The beauty of beach is that you can compete as much or as little as you desire. Outside of club v club squad commitments (refer to the competition tab),  you get to set your own schedule and cater your tournaments towards your goals. There are several tours with sanctioned governing bodies to consider when planning to play. To participate, the majority require annual memberships in order to earn points for seeding and to qualify for national championships.

*Keep in mind you can always register for your memberships right before you decide to play and will usually be prompted upon registration. So if you are not at the level to warrant traveling or to pursue college recruiting, an AVP Silver membership will get you through the majority of local competitions like our Florida SSOVA tour and club-hosted events.

Almost all tournaments, showcases and clinic registration can be found at volleyballlife.com

1) AVP Juniors  (Silver Membership required for most tournament participation)

*East and West Coast National Championships

*Here is a useful GUIDE to understand the end goal of accumulating points by playing AVP sactioined        events.

2) USAV Beach-  You will need a USAV membership for several local events that may be a qualifier for USAV Nationals in July. If you already have a SportsEngine account from indoor, your indoor membership should suffice. No need to link to PureSol club directly.

3) P1440- Founded by Olympian Kerri Walsh, P1440 futures tour hosts elite tournament stops to earn points towards their National Championship in California. You would need a P1440 membership to compete.  They also offer college clinics and an advanced development program called Fab50 that highlights some of the best players in the country for top training opportunities and recruitment.  Learn more about the P1440 mission HERE.

4) BVNE (Beach Volleyball National Events) - This tour offers many college coaches' clinics as well as several tour stops to accumulate points for their East and West coast championships. Playing these events will help with your VolleyballLife ranking, which affects seeding, recruiting, and partner networking as players develop. Sign up for their membership HERE.  They have partner with  GNBV (Get Noticed Beach Volleyball). This is a Recruiting showcase tour where athletes can go and showcase their skills with clinics followed by a tournament to put themselves on the map.

Tournament Expectations

As a representative of PureSol, athletes are expected to operate under the biblical principles that our club was founded on...to be salt and light to everyone we meet. Matt 5:13-16. That means to "preserving goodness and add flavor" as well as "guiding others and shining brightly." In volleyball world that translates to the following:

-Respect your opponent and teammate the way you would want to be treated.

-Honor the referees and learn to "educate" them when necessary instead of yelling at them.

- Respect the rules by knowing them inside and out and by being a confident, decisive referee.

- Operate with complete honesty and integrity

-Showing up on time as an opponent and ref.

-Parents are expected to Cheer and Support only. They are not allowed to speak to other players or refs.  they can not approach the opponent's coach, discuss rules, scores, or plays at any point during the match. This is not only a PureSol rule but also a juniors volleyball rule across all tours.

- Players are expected to report their finishes to coaches and directors for social media promotion and support.

- Players are expected to wear PureSol gear as often as possible especially  for podium pictures.

-Meet your coaches and teammates at the designated meeting location prior to the start of the tournament.

-When switching sides of the court, meet your coach at the back corner and walk-and-talk together for a legal exchange of information without delaying the game.

- Always shake hands with opponents and coaches after. (Feel free to throw in a compliment!)
